Hydrocele

CONDITION

A hydrocele is a collection of fluid around the testicle. It is not known why they occur. Hydrocele is an entirely benign condition. A careful examination along with an ultrasound scan will confirm the diagnosis. Most hydroceles do not require any treatment, but a large hydrocele may restrict movement or become uncomfortable, in which case you may choose to have a hydrocele repair.
